    • Although the cycling distance in this trip is relatively long and the terrain is mixture with flat,undulating, ascending and descending road.
    the climate is warm and damp so you will need a reasonable level to enjoy the trip but keep in mind that we There will always be a support car if you need to rest for an hour or a day.
    • Because of condition of road  is done on a mixture of sealed roads and gravel roads, we do not require technical cycling skills. However, we recommend that you practice off-road so that you feel comfortable commencing your trip.

    Day 1: Danang Arrival – Transfer Hoi An

    A short morning flight takes us  to the busy port of Danang. We transfer to our hotel, assemble our bikes and set off along the coast on a warm-up ride. We ride via the Marble Mountains, home to caves and Buddhist shrines. Moving on, we reach My Khe Beach – thought to be the famous China Beach, which was used as ‘R&R’ by US troops. Continuing south, we ride on to Hoi An, beautiful well-preserved ancient trading port which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its temples and architecture show the different cultural influences of its time. Luckily for Hoi An, its importance waned long before the Vietnam War and it was left isolated and untouched. It’s a lovely place to wander and explore, and we spend the night here. Night in hotel;

    Day 2: Hoi An Back Road

    Hoi An, which is a world heritage of Vietnam, has long been a cultural crossroad and remains such a  ancient beauty after nearly 300 circles of the four seasons. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.Cycling both in ancient town and rural villages, offer for you interesting challenging.     Day 3: Hoi An – My Son Holy Temple – Hoi An

    This will give you the very best of experiences at understanding the real lives of the inhabitants of Hoi An. You will bike through the wonderful and charming countryside while passing by vegetable gardens and rice farms. You will visit the colourful market, cook some rare and local dishes and talk to many friendly locals. You will also have an opportunity to enjoy the delicious food of Vietnam with a local family.     Day 4: Hoi An to Phuoc Son

    8:00 am departure by vehicle from Hoi An World Heritage site (70 km) approximately before we get far enough out of town to start biking. 60 km biking through great sections of jungle, nice landscapes and waterfalls. Lunch is served on the way (picnic style). After lunch, continue to bike to Phuoc Son with an estimated arrival at 3:00 pm. Dinner will be organized in Phuoc Son with an overnight in a comfortable local guest house.

    Day 5:  Phuoc Son to Ngoc Hoi

    Breakfast at the hotel and an early departure at 7:00 am. This is the best riding day of the trip with a fantastic 70 kilometer section of deep jungle forest on both sides of the road. The ride is also very hilly and runs along the border of  Ngoc Linh National Park and Ngoc Linh Mtn.(2400 meters) through the Truong Son mountain range. This is also the day that we travel along the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail. The Ba Na and Sedang minorities reside in this jungle area. You have short break for lunch in a local restaurant. Biking in the afternoon to hotel in Ngoc Hoi with estimated arrival time around 4:00 pm.

    Day 6: Ngoc Hoi to Pleiku

    Departure by bike from the hotel at around 8:00 or 8:30 am. The first section, you'll visit a local minority village (Ba Na), a scenic suspension bridge and a traditional wooden church. Then, you'll continue to cycle to Russian Tanks and Charlie Hill. We’ll stop at Dak To Base Camp to learn about historical Vietnam War.(the battle Dak To war a series of major engagements of Vietnam War, During the summer of 1967, heavy contact with People’s Army of Vietnam forces in the area prompted the launching of Operation Greeley, a combined search and destroy effort be elements of the U.S Army’s 4th infantry Divison and 173rd Airbome Brigade. Phonenix Airfield, aslo know as Dak To Base Camp and Dac To 2 Airfield, is now a bare patch of asphalt used by local to dry cassava. Beyond it is Charlie Hill, the affects of chemical defoliant Agent Orange still clearly visible as the surface is avoid of any growth. People in the region still suffer from the water and soil). Lunch is served in a local restaurant. After that, you’ll  visit a "Sea Lake" in Pleiku. You'll arrival into Pleiku at around 3:00 – 4:00 pm and spent overnight in Pleiku.

    Day 7: Pleiku to Buon Me Thuot.

    After breakfast, we will short transfer from the hotel to the start of the cycling route for the day. We'll cycle for 30 km through rolling hills, coffee plantations and small villages before turning off on a true backroad. This backroad enters into a very stunning rubber tree plantation that continues for 25 km (rolling with some small hills). The last 10km is on a beautiful rural road that eventually widens a bit and wanders through small farms and villages. Lunch will be taken on the way (picnic style lunch on this day). Very short 6 km transfer after the riding to the hotel in Buon Me Thuot.

    Day 8: Buon Me Thuot to Lak Lake.

    After breakfast, depart on a leisurely ride to Lak Lake on mostly flat terrain (40 km biking). You will arrive in Lak Lake before lunch. Check into Homestay at Jun  minority village  and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, after a rest, head out to visit one of the old summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai. Take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak Lake. Some light trekking is possible from this village (Elephant riding  can be done if desired). Evening free to explore.

    Day 9:  Lak Lake to Da Lat.

    7:30 am breakfast and departure by bike right from Lak Lake. Ride as long as possible before transferring by vehicle to the top of Phu Son Pass. Picnic lunch at the top of the pass. Bike down Phu Son Pass and through rolling hills and farmland to Elepphant waterfall,where we’ll stop for lunch. After lunch, you’ll bike through Ta Nung Hamlet,where our guides will introduce about coffee bean and weasel coffee farm in the Central Highlands. Take your time to driking”weasel coffe” and enjoy the view from there amazing. Then we have the final 17 kilometer uphill push to Van Thanh village. Our support vehicle’ll transfer to Da Lat City. We’ll spent overnight in Da Lat.

    Day 10: Dalat Off the Beaten Track

    u will join the Hill Tribe biking teams and experience great riding, a variety of landscapes, scenic views of farms, forests and mountains surroundings and good trails.  You’ll through vegetable and flower farms. Our guide will take you further to the pine forests, enjoying the beautiful view of the Victory Lake. The trail is sometimes up hill or down hill which makes the tour more adventurous. You have to carry the bike on your shoulder in some places or free your body on the bike to the Valley of Love. Your lucnh time will be served in the forest. After lunch, you’ll continue to cycle to Da Thien Lake. You’ll to enjoy the beautiful view of DaThien Lake and then cycling to Van Hanh Zen Monastery to sightseeing biggest Gold Buddha in Da Lat area. After that you continue to cycle to Your hotel at around 2:00pm or 3:00pm and then Free time to exploring City of Eternal Spring. We’ll stay overnight in Da Lat.

    Day 11: Da Lat to Mui Ne

    You will over 950 meters of descent on this 70+km ride to Mui Ne as you wind through pine and jungle forested valleys into the tropical climate below. Our support vehicle takes you from Da Lat to Di Linh(80km)  where we start the ride down to Mui Ne. The ride goes through small minority villages and Jungle forested valleys to the beautiful beaches below.The first section of riding is through coffee plantations and forest and includes a 5km uphill climb to get you warmed up.This is followed by plenty of downhill and rolling sections. A final long downhill pass is completed before the road flattens out with a long cruise to Highway 1, where the ride ends and our vehicle transports us the rest of the way to Mui Ne (about 45 minutes). The road is mostly paved(sealed) secondary and thr support vehicle is used to transport all your luggage and provisions for lunch and refreshment.The ride is also customizable in length, as the support vehicle can be used at any time by tired riders. You’ll stay overnight in Mui Ne Beach.

    Day 12: Mui Ne Beach

    Day 13: Mui Ne – Binh Chau – Hot Spring Water

    Get up early to admire panoramic view over the beach or you can stroll around the golden sand desert in Doi Hong. Have hearty breakfast in Hotel, we commence riding along the coast to Phan Thiet city- the capital of resort and fish sauce factories. Although the weather is hot around the year, the people life is still hard, the province is endowed with  long emerald sand beach for this region. enjoy 35 km cycling on scenic route lead to Ke Ga. Have lunch enroute, after lunch, we keep cycle on paved road lead to La Gi Town. Cycling the lastt distance on tarmac road to Binh Chau Hot Spring water Resort & spa.

    Day 14: Binh Chau – Vung Tau

Have lunch en route. After lunch we continue to ride along the coast to Binh Chau -  Long Hai where we stay overnight. Have farewell dinner with our team and support in local restaurant.     Bikes: we use the new 4300/4500 trek  and Cannondale Trail 5 and tango 5 mountain bikes for all most cycling trip with different size from 13.5’’  - 23,5’’.We generally use 2012 /2013 models of TREK  mountain bikes because they are high quality, durable pieces of equipment. Besides,
    We like the versatility and durability of the mountain bike as it has been designed to cope with different types of terrain and riding. Our trips can be on asphalt and can often be broken or potholed, and there are usually unsurfaced sections included, so mountain bikes are the most suitable. They also have the range of gears to cope with the hills.
    Each bike comes with a single water bottle cage, if you prefer more you are welcome to bring your own. Bikes also have gel seat cover slips if you prefer a softer ride. If you have your own saddle that you are comfortable with seat, you are welcome to bring it and we'll fit it. On long tours women specific seats are recommended and we have some available, but we cannot guarantee we will available for every tour.These bikes also are available for rent in case you want to go it alone or just need a bike for a day.
    Bikes repairs: basic spaires and tools kid are generally carried by guide and on the support vehicle, although we can not guarantee having spares for every conceivable problem. Carring a basic tool kids, a spare tube and a pump while riding is  recommended.

    Safety: wearing a helmet is compulsory on all our biking adventures. Your tour guide are trained in first aid and emergency rescure, tour guide often carry first aid  box with their bikes while riding

    Accommodation:When cycling we stay in friendly hotel, guesthouse or homestays. Some are more basic than others! Bear in mind that some of the places we overnight in are not on the standard tourist trail.In larger cities and towns, our hotels are generally more western style and are three or four hotels or resort. Please do not expect the same standard as you would your home.
    Our guides: the tour will be led by one of English - speaking guides. All our guides have great knowledge of history, local culture,  and religions of the area where you are cycling and introduce that experiences for you . our guides have been  trained  in this field and is fully licensed in tour guiding by Vietnam National Tourism. Our guides are also medically skilled in first Aid by SOS  and they know how to deal  with hard situations.\
    Grading definition: To assist you visualise how our trip is difficult, we have graded our adventure tours into three categories, easy, moderate, and challenging, we group many factors into consideration into this grading, including distant covered, terrain, altitude, weather conditions and vehicle support
    Easy: suitable for most people in good health. These trips  generally include short days, on good paths and at low attitudes
    Moderate: A reasonable level of fitness is required, as these trips can require sustained endurance levels, hill longer days and altitude.All of our moderate trips have a support vehicle following closely, weary travellers can hitch a ride and take a rest for a while.
    Challenging: these trips are physically demanding and best suite for  fit people with high endurancce level. Day can be longer, often at altitude, in remoted regions and sometimes without supports vehicle nearby.. travellers may be required  to carry a backpacks.
    Terrain: Distances on full cycling days average around 50 – 80km. Our route is mainly on tarmac roads of varing quality with are some more like hard – packed dirt, Terrain is generally flat or undulating with a few notable climbs..  Distance for second days and  half of third day is around 60- 80 km. Our routes are mainly on single track, dirt road and trail , we cycle around villages and villages, through rice paddy terraces.
    Food: All the meals which, are mentioned in itinerary, are included in the price of this tour. Most of meals are Vietnamese local food in Homestays . while in towns, we will enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in delicious restaurants
    Meals consist of a variety of banlanced dishes and aim for universal appeal, we avoid highly spiced foods.
    Vegetarians are certainly welcome and are always accommodated, please let us know of any dietary concerns at time of booking.  Beverage  and alcoholic drink are not included  at mealtime or in restaurants
    Snack/ Water: when we transfer, ride by minibus ( no cycling day),  our bottled waters are always available  for you ( two little for one day for person with wet tissue)
    When we have cycling days, we will offer cold water and wet tissue in box plus fresh tropical fruides, soft – drink, energy – drinking, ( five little water for cycling day/ person).
    Beer is freely available everywhere in Vietnam, but not include in our trip.
    The Homestays: Homestay in the villages is simple interm of  bedding condition and ementies. We will sleep  on beds  or floor with mattress, clean sheet, pillow and mosquito nets. Toilet is usually western style.
    Weather: Vietnam has a tropical monsoon climate. Broadly speaking, the weather in Vietnam is dictated by two seasons - the southwest monsoon from April to September and the Northeast monsoon  from October to late march  or early April.
    Due to regional climate differences, there are no right or wrong  seasons to visit Vietnam.the north Vietnam is cool, damp in winters between November and December and February with tempreture in Hanoi falling to around 15oC. The summer months from April to October  are hot and dry.the best time visit Vietnam is spring ( February – April) or Autunm( late September – December) when it is not so humid. The weather turns quite cold and wet in January and this continues to  march. The humidity can prove oppresive from May to the early September.
    Money:  the official national currency is the Vietnamese Dong ( VND), but the US dollar is widely accepted in allmost tourist centers. However, small towns and the villages the VND is preferred, ATM are available in all major cities and towns, tourist destinations, Vietcombank, Agriculture banks are the best networks with  a limit a single withdraw limit of 2000,000 d ( 95 USD). Most major currrencies can be exchanged in leading in Vietnam, but th USD is preferred  away from the tourist centers. Changing 100 USD  wil make you to be a millionaire. You can not legally take the dong out of Vietnam but you can reconvert reasonable amounts of it into USD on departure,.
    Clothing:  comfortable lightweight clothing  in natural fabrics such as cotton is most suitable for travelling in Vietnam. The dress code is fairly casual as it is in most parts of the tropics but it is advisable to cover arms and legs in the evening against bitting  insects. A light weight raincoat or rain cape  is a good ideal in the raining season. For on the bike you will need to bring a couple of pairs of cycling shorts and short leeve jerseys, a pairs of cycling glove and if you use them, your clip in cycling shoes/ sandals.. when travel in the North Vietnam during winter months ( late November – March) warm clothe is needed.Visitors to Buddhist countries should not to wear shorts, short skirts  or other skimpy clothing when visiting religious centers and shoes should be removed  before entering private homes.
    Passport and visa: All visitors  are required to have a valid  visa to enter Vietnam. A one month tourist visa is usually sufficients for most visitors, though it is possible to arrange  three months  or six month – multiple entry visa for regular visitors. The Snail Adventure Tours company  is authorised to issue visa on arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, Danang International Airport in Danang,  and Tan San Nhat in Ho chi Minh city.The same authorisation proceduce  and a minimum mof 5 days working  notice is required. In emergency case they can arrange a visa o arrival if notice of 2  working days is given
    Tipping: Tipping for good services is always appreciated in these developing countries. It is customary, though not compulsory, to tip tour guides and drivers at the end of the tour. Hotels and station porters should also be tipped a small amount for . We recommend 5 US Dollar  / person/per day  for cycling tour guides .. 2 USD/ person/ day for driver and 1 USD/ person/ day for door bell when checking in and out.
