15 Days - Myanmar Bicycle Holiday

    Highlight:
Myanmar is a mystical land. A country of hills and valleys, mountains and beaches, temples and jungles. From its northern Himalayan border with Tibet, the thick teak clad hills of the Golden Triangle and the confluence of the Mekong river with Thailand and Laos, along into the plains of Mandalay, on to the Ayeyarwaddy delta and down into the hundreds of scattered, tropical islands of the Andaman sea, the visitor cannot fail to delight in the marvel that is Myanmar and all the wonders it has to offer. The country is swathed in history and culture, overflowing with old-world charm and a way of life rapidly disappearing in the rest of the world today. Whilst this is an obvious setback for the inhabitants of Myanmar, it is a fascinating insight into an ancient Asian culture and one that is sure to succumb to the sweeping tide of modernisation engulfing Asia today.

Situated on the most westerly point of the Southeast Asian landmass, Myanmar is one of the most physically diverse and beautiful countries in the region. In spite of ongoing political problems, it remains a country of great travel interest and your visit is hugely beneficial to, and encouraged by, the ordinary Burmese citizen. From its sublime landscapes and rich history, to its serene people and deeply Buddhist culture, it is a destination like no other, offering the visitor a veritable treasure trove of wonders and delights unmatched in the world today. Allow us, with our dedicated team of Burmese staff, to show you around our enchanting country.
It's the dawn of a more democratic era in this extraordinary land, where the landscape is scattered with gilded pagodas and the traditional ways of Asia  endure
Is this trip right for you?
    • To complete this trip, it is important that you have confidence and competence in cycling.
    • Although the cycling distance in this trip is relatively short and the terrain is relatively flat, the climate is warm and damp so you will need a reasonable level to enjoy the trip but keep in mind that we There will always be a support car if you need to rest for an hour or a day.
    • Because our horse riding is done on a mixture of sealed roads and gravel roads, we do not require technical cycling skills. However, we recommend that you practice off-road so that you feel comfortable commencing your trip.
    • There may be some glitches along the way - maybe a puncture here and maybe - but this is no doubt an incredible adventure.
    • Weather in this area may vary depending on the season. Be prepared to get sweaty and for frequent rain storms, which may require a change of plan.
